Ingredients required
· 250 grams of vendakkai ( ladies finger )
· Two cups of Mochai
· Small ball of tamarind
· Four green chilli
· Two big onions
· Two tomatoes
· One spring of curry leaves
· 1/2 teaspoon of mustard
· 1/2 teaspoon of urad dal
· Two red chilli
· Salt as per your need
· Oil as per your requirement
Preparation method
1. Initially you need to boil the mochai or pressure cook it and kept aside.
2. Then cut the ladies finger in thin pieces and spilt the green chillies in any shape but it should be in thin manner.
3. Soak the tamarind in water and prepare an extract from it, mean time finely cut the onion, tomatoes.
4. Heat the oil pan, add some mustard seed, red chilies, urad dhal, when mustard started splitting then add onion, green chilies, tomato and stir it for a few minutes.
5. Now add all the vendakkai and then pour the tamarind extract into it and cook well.
6. If you see the vendakkai is cooked, then add the mochai into it and cook for five more minutes then switch off the stove and serve hot!!
