Punugulu is called as fried balls; it will be one of the best snack time dishes. It is very easy recipe that can be prepared with home ingredients and within 20 minutes you can do it. Mostly children will like it because it is very tastiest dish moreover it is a healthy recipe too. This dish is rich in carbohydrates and protein. Here is the essential thing and preparation direction, have a note on it and prepare in your home.
Ingredients required
· 2 cups of dosa batter
· 1 to 2 tbsps rice flour
· 2 tbsps of semolina
· One onions (finely chopped)
· 1 tsp of green chili paste
· 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds
· 1 sprig of curry leaves (finely chopped)
· 2 tbsps of coriander leaves (finely chopped)
· Salt as per your taste
· Oil for frying
Directions to prepare
1. Combine all the above ingredients except the oil and mix well. Leave it for half an hour.
2. Now heat the oil, intermediate make your batter in ball form.
3. Place the batter balls on the heated oil, turn it until they become brown color. Be careful do not fry it too dark.
4. If you see good consistency then you can remove it from pan and serve it hot along with the chutney (preferably coconut chutney).
