Ingredients required
· Granulated Sugar - 240 gms
· Maida flour - 80 gms
· Butter - 140 gms
· Eggs - 3
· Chocolate bars (chips) - 80 gms
· Cocoa Powder - 30 gms
· Baking soda – 11/2 tsp
· Walnuts - 60 gms
· Vanilla essence - 2 tsp
Preparation methods
(i) Pre preparation
1. Initially you need to pre heat the oven for about 180 C for 15 minutes.
2. Grease the tray with butter and also use butter paper.
3. In a bowl add maida flour, coco powder and baking soda and keep it undisturbed for some time.
(ii) Major preparation steps
1. In a pan add some water and heat it for some time. Then take it away.
2. Now add eggs in a bowl and keep it on the hot water pan. By keeping in the hot water beat the eggs.
3. Add sugar and again continue your beating. Beating should continue until you get the creamy consistency.
4. Again heat the water in a pan cover it with a pot and put the chocolate bars over it. Now your chocolate started to melt. This is called as double boiling.
5. Then mix the melted chocolate, flour mixture and egg mixture by adding essence.
6. Beat it heavily until it gives creamy consistency. Now place the creamy flour on the greased plate and add some walnut pieces on the top.
7. Bake it for 20 minutes and remove it. It is time to serve, while serving you needs to add chocolate sauce on the top which enriches the taste.
