Ginger bread is a unique dish that flavors and tastes good. It is somewhat difficult in preparation for the first time. Let’s look at the ingredients required and preparation direction.
Ingredients required
· All-purpose flour - 3 cups
· Baking powder - 1 1/2 tsp
· Baking soda - 3/4 tsp
· Salt - 1/4 tsp
· Ginger - 1 tbsp (grounded)
· Cinnamon - 1 3/4 tsp (grounded)
· Cloves - 1/4 tsp (grounded)
· Unsalted butter - 6 tbsp
· Dark brown sugar - 3/4 cup
· Egg – 1 (large)
· Molasses - 1/2 cup
· Vanilla - 2 tsp
· Lemon zest- 1 tsp (finely grated)
Preparation methods
1. Initially you need to pre heat the oven for 375 degree and prepare baking sheet.
2. Take a medium sized bowl add the flour, baking powder & soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, clove. Blend it well.
3. In another bowl add butter, egg and dark brown sugar. Blend this mixture well. Then add vanilla, lemon zest and molasses and continue blending.
4. Now combine the mixture from both the bowl and keep it in room temperature for 8 hours.
5. Then slightly sprinkle the flour on the dough and make it into small balls.
6. Now roll balls into thick manner. Do it for all the balls.
7. Place the cookie cutter and bake it for 7 minutes. Now remove the cookie and serve it after it gets cooled.
8. While serving you can do some cream decoration it will give more attractiveness.
