(i)Main ingredients
· Raw Bananas - 6
· Ginger – 10 gm (finely chopped)
· Green Chilies - 10 gm, (finely chopped)
· Cumin Seeds - 2 gm
· Asafetida -1 gm
· Garam Masala Powder - 5 gm
· Salt as per your taste
(ii) For Gravy preparation
· Beaten Curd - ¼ kg
· Clove - 3 gm
· Bay Leaves - 4
· Cumin Seeds - 2 gm
· Asafetida - 1 gm
· Ginger - 5 gm (finely chopped)
· Green Chilies - 5 gm (finely chopped)
· Oil - 25 ml
· Turmeric powder - 1.5 gm
· Garam Masala Powder - 5 gm
· Red Chili Powder - 2 gm
· Water - 50 ml
· Coriander leaves (chopped finely) for garnishing purpose
Preparation methods
1. Initially you need to boil the raw bananas by peeling its skin. While boiling, you can add some salt and pinch of turmeric powder.
2. Then mash it with the help of strong holder and add the ingredients that are mentioned under major ingredients.
3. Make it in the form of balls and fry it deeply. Now balls are ready.
4. Now heat oil in a pan and add cloves, bay leaves, asafetida, beaten curd, green chilli, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam maasala and water in it.
5. Coo for some time and then add the khoftas into it. Serve it hot after garnishing with chopped coriander leaves.
