Alternatively you can prepare Cashew nut Kheer in your home. It is very simple and you can prepare it within short time duration. It is very delicious and healthy recipe.
Ingredients required
· Milk – 1 liter
· Cashew nuts - 3/4 cup (soak for 3 to 4 hours in hot water)
· Sugar - 1/2 cup
· Almonds & pistachios - 1 tsp (slivered thinly)
· Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
· Saffron - 1/4 tsp (soaked one tbsp of hot milk)
Preparation methods
1. Heat the milk in a heavy bottomed pan by adding sugar for 15 minutes. Stir it occasionally.
2. Meanwhile drain the soaked cashews and grain into smooth paste.
3. Now add the cashew paste into the boiling milk and make your flame into simmer for 3 minutes.
4. Now add the other nuts into the kheer and serve it hot.
5. You can use it for next day by storing it in refrigerator.
