The Pazham Pori is one of the traditional foods which is liked by many people and hence it seems to be simple to do it. You can make it home itself instead buying it from outside. The major ingredient used for Pazham Pori is ripe plantain and flour batter. It is a sweet dish which everyone likes to have.
Required ingredients
· Three ripe plantain
· One cup all purpose flour (atta is preferable)
· One tbsp of Rice flour for getting crunchiness
· One tbsp of sugar for getting taste
· One pinch of turmeric powder
· ¾ Cup of water
· Salt as per your taste
· Oil for frying purpose
Preparation direction
1. Initially you need to peel the skin of plantain and slice it sin lengthwise.
2. Then in a fresh bowl you need to put the all purpose flour, sugar, rice flour, and salt and turmeric powder. Blend it nicely along with the water. You should not see any sticks and rounds in it.
3. You are intended to dip the plantain on the batter mixture and squarely coat on it.
4. Now heat the frying pan and pour enough oil in it where it should heat well, now drop the plantain slices and fry it deeply.
5. The exact consistency of the food is, it should reach golden brown color
6. Take it from the pan if you see excess oil then use paper towel to drain the oil and serve it hot!!
