Preparing evening snack is also very tough thing because children will look for unique dish. Doing unique dish daily is very difficult. Have you ever tasted banana puri? It is very good dish and nutritional too. Since it give sweetness people will like to eat this dish. The banana puri is easy doing recipe so that you can prepare it in very short. Hence it is known for tea time snack. Ok let us start prepare this dish!!
Ingredients required
· Ripe banana - 1/2 cup (mashed)
· Sugar - 1/2 cup
· Ghee - 1 tbsp
· Cardamom powder - 1/8 tsp
· A pinch of salt
· Almonds - 3 tbsp of coarsely crushed (18 almonds)
· Wheat flour ¾ cup
· All purpose flour - ¾ cup
· Oil for frying
Preparation Methods
1. Initially you need to mash banana, add sugar, salt, butter, cardamom powder and almond mix well.
2. Now add wheat flour and all purpose flour in the mix and make it into smooth dough. Keep it undisturbed for 2 hours.
3. Make the dough into small balls and grease a polythene paper with oil or ghee.
4. Place the balls on greased paper and make it flattened.
5. Now heat the oil and drop the flattened puri’s. When the puri’s turned to brown color then take it out and serve it.
Note:
If you need there is more oil then you can use paper towel to absorb the oil.
You can also store this outside for a week. There is no need of refrigeration.
