Chicken cutlet which is one of the healthy chicken recipes can be prepared within 30 minutes. This snack food will be loved by your kids as it will be delicious to taste. As it is prepared with protein rich chicken and other vegetables, it is too healthier for your kids. Once if it is made, you can also store it for 2 to 3 weeks in refridgarator.
Ingredients
· Boneless chicken – a bowl
· One big onion (chopped finely)
· A small piece of ginger (mashed)
· Once potato (chopped finely)
· One carrot (chopped finely)
· Red chilly powder – ½ tsp
· Pepper powder – ½ tsp
· Green chilli – 2 (chopped slitted)
· Garam Masala – ½ tbsp
· Turmeric powder – ½ tbsp
· Beaten Eggs - 2
· Bread crumbs – a big bowl
· Oil for frying
· Salt as per your taste
Instructions:
1. First boil the potatoes, peel off the skin and mash it
2. Then cut the chicken into small pieces and apply chilli powder, a pinch of salt, turmeric powder and one teaspoon of curd and keep it aside.
3. In the meantime, chop onion, chili, ginger, garlic, carrot into small pieces.
4. Heat the pan with some oil and add garam masala along with chopped vegetables. Then sauté it for a few minutes until it becomes soft.
5. Then pressure cooks the chicken and once if it boiled adds them to this mixture with water and salt to taste. Cook it for 20 minutes. Put off the flame and allow the mixture for 10 minutes.
6. Add the mashed potatoes and mix them well with your hands. Take the mixture and roll into small balls. Then flatten the rolled balls with your arms. Then dip each flattened mixture into beaten egg and coated with breadcrumbs.
7. Heat the pan with oil and fry the cutlets with medium flame until they become golden brownish color. You can serve it with tomato ketchup.
