It is very simple to prepare khoya by milk. It needs only milk with little sugar. Ingredients required and directions are mentioned here.
Ingredients
· 1liter - milk
· 50 gm - of sugar
· ½ tsp of cardamom powder
Note:
This volume is used for commercial purpose if you want to taste only milk khoya separately then you can use 250 gm of sugar for one liter milk.
Preparation method
1. In a heavy bottomed vessel you can add milk, sugar and boil it for 10 minutes in medium heat.
2. When the milk starts boiling turn to medium low heat and scraps the sides of the vessel.
3. In next 20 minutes you can the milk will get reduced half.
4. Again continue heating 15 to 20 minutes you milk will changed to pale yellow color.
5. Now add cardamom powder and again heat for 10 minutes.
6. You milk will get solidified and it become thick.
7. Finally when you see the milk changes to creamy yellow then you switch off the flame.
8. When the heat reduced you can use it for any sweet.
9. Probably this khoya will be used in many sweets dish.
