During festival time people are looking for happiest moments with delicious recipes. In Indian there are number of festival are there and one of the most popular festival is dussara and it is celebrated for nearly nine days. Are you wishing to celebrate these nine days with different nine recipes? Yes it is possible here is a simple recipe for you which can be made in short time duration.
Ingredients required
· Five boiled potatoes
· 1/2 tsp of salt
· 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds
· Two tbsp of arrowroot or corn flour
· For stuffing:
· Four tbsp of grated coconut
· Three green chillies, chopped
· One tsp of grated ginger
· Two tbsp of peanuts (roasted & crushed )
· Three tbsp of fresh coriander
· 1.5 tsp of lemon juice
· 1 tsp of sugar
Preparation direction
1. Initially you need to take a bowl, append the mashed potatoes which are boiled earlier, cumin seeds, arrowroot and salt; combine it well whereas it should be smooth.
2. Then add grated coconut and combine the entire stuffing ingredient in it and mash well again for some times.
3. Now you are intended to grease your palms and take the mashed material and round it ball format, and slightly flatten it.
4. Then add some add additional ingredients if you need then cover it with the coconut mixture and seal it properly.
5. Then roll the balls in the corn flour powder or in arrowroot meanwhile heat the oil in pan in which you are going to fry the balls.
6. Then deeply fry the rolls on medium heat and wait until it become brown color.
7. Finally drain the balls in a paper towels and serve it hot along with the mint chutney or plain curd!!
