Generally homemaker’s will get confused about their lunch menu and children will also get bored with their regular lunch. In order to grasp their interest to the food you need to prepare some unique foods. Preparing foods in unique style is very simple. Doing something creative will ends in variety of dish. Here I am going to share one recipe named Pazham Pulissery. It is very simple and you can serve it with rice, surely you will get everyone’s applause. Ingredients required
(i)Main ingredients
· One Nendrapazham (cut into bite sized pieces)
· 1/2 tsp of Cumin seeds
· 3/4 cup Yogurt
· 3/4 cup of Green chili
· 1/4 tsp of Chili powder
· 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder
· 1/4cup of Grated coconut
· Water
(ii) For tempering
· Mustard seeds, small amount
· 1/4 tsp of Fenugreek seeds
· 1 sprig of Curry leaves
· 3 Red chilies
· 2 Shallots (small onion) sliced (optional)
· Oil
Preparation methods
1. Firstly you need to grind coconut and cumin seeds into smooth paste then cook plantain along with green chillies, turmeric powder, chilli powder with some water.
2. After it has cooked then add prepared paste and also required salt.
3. Cook it for 2 minutes add yogurt and mix well.
4. After minutes switch off the flame and keep it aside.
5. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, red chillies, curry leaves respectively.
6. Now pour this tempering ingredient in the prepared Pazham Pulissery. Now it is ready you can serve it with rice.
