The kulkul is one of the familiar dishes across the country India and it is very simple to make these dishes in home. This dish is common during Christmas period and in majority of the home kulkul will takes place during special occasion. Everyone likes this very much more it is also said to be a healthy recipe.
Ingredients needed
· 1/2 kg of plain flour
· 1/2 tsp of baking powder
· Two eggs
· One cup of coconut cream
· Four tbsp of powdered sugar
· One tbsp of butter
· Oil for frying
· One cup of granulated sugar
· 3 to 4 tbsp of water
Preparation methods
1. Firstly you need to mix the flour & baking powder well; add butter in little amount and mix it gently.
2. Wisk the eggs in new bowl and add some of the butter flour mixture and also add some powdered sugar, coconut milk cream in it.
3. After add all these then mix the dough in well form and shape it in marble sized balls. Now grease with oil and flattened the balls.
4. Roll the flattened balls from one side to another side and join the ends similarly do it for all the balls and make it ready.
5. Now heat the oil in a heavy bottomed pan and fry the prepared kulkuls until it become brown color and take it away.
6. Then prepare the sugar solution and boil it to get thick consistency, next put the kulkuls in the sugar solution you have prepared.
7. If the sugar is coated well then take it out store it in a substantial time in an air tight container and serve it during the occasions.
8. It will be fantastic dish to spend the special occasions in grandeur manner!!
