Ingredients needed for Gulab Jamun
· Khoya or Kova which is unsweetened take one cup
· Maida or All other flour three table spoon
· 1/8 table spoon of sodium bi carbonate that is cooking soda
· Two cardamom one
· Half cups of sugar
· One and half cups of water
· Saffron is optional if you have then you can use it.
· If you are rose essence then add two drops in it.
· You can take oil or ghee for yawning fry.
Preparation direction
1. Initially take khoya, if it is frozen states then you need to bring it at frozen state then measure it in your hand.
2. Take khoya, cooking soda and maida and mix it well in a bowl until you get satisfaction. Slowly add water in it and make it as dough and it needs to be very soft.
3. Keep it aside for a few minutes. Then make it as a round balls of equal size and while rolling you need not give more pressure on it make it gentle.
4. Meanwhile prepare sugar syrup that add equal amount of water and sugar add some cardamoms in it.
5. If you need, you can also add saffron and rose waters in the syrup.
6. Then fry the balls either in ghee or oil takes it as brown color.
7. After it gets cool then add it in the sugar syrup for a mean time. Now delicious Gulab Jamun is ready!!
