Shahi panner is one of the tastiest dishes from north Indian cuisine that too from Delhi. Today, people are concentrating more on panner foods, and it is healthy too. In many restaurants people are ordering this food, but it is very simple to prepare it at home. Make use of this article and prepare Shahi paneer.
Ingredients required
· 250 grams of paneer
· 1/4 cup of beaten curd
· 1/2 teaspoon of Garam masala
· 1/2 teaspoon of red chilli powder
· Two teaspoons of tomato sauce
· 11/2 cups of milk
· 1 1/2 cups of finely chopped tomatoes
· 1/2 cups of finely chopped onion
· 1/2" piece of finely chopped ginger
· 2 to 3 pieces of Green chillies
· 2 to 3 pieces of crushed Cardamoms
· Three teaspoons of ghee/butters
· Salt as per your taste
· For Garnish
· Two teaspoons of grated paneer
· One teaspoon of chopped coriander
Preparation methods
1. Initially you need to chop the paneer into two inch fingers.
2. Now heat the ghee or butter, add onion you chopped, ginger, cardamom and green chillies and sauté it for three to four minutes.
3. Then add tomatoes and fry it for 7 to 8 minutes, then add some cured over it & cook for five more minutes.
4. Finely add water and cool it, now put it in a mixer jar and grind until it become smooth.
5. Heat the remaining ghee and add the gravy, all the ingredients except panner and milk. Boil it until you see a thick consistency.
6. Before serving this dish you are intended to heat the gravy and put the paneer and boil it for three to four minutes.
