Sweet chutney is very essential for preparing bhel puri, dhai puri and more street foods. It is very simple and stores it for minimum 15 days.
Ingredients required
· 1/4 cup of jaggery
· 1/4 cup of tamarind
· 8-10 seedless dates
· ½ tsp of red chilli powder
· 1/4 tsp roasted Cumin powder
· 1/4 tsp of dry ginger powder -
· Salt as per need
Preparation Methods
1. Initially you need to soak tamarind for about 20 minutes
2. Dissolve jaggery in little water and filter its impurities.
3. In a bowl boil jiggery, dates, tamarind along with little water.
4. Then add chilli powder, jeera powder, and ginger powder and make it simmer.
5. If all ingredients become smooth then grind it. You will get saucy consistency.
