Among the many Indian snacks, tikki ki chaat is one of the best which can be prepared easily and it is one of the nutritional dishes. The common name of this dish is chaat where as in north India it is called as tikki ki chaat and in western region it is called as ragda pattice. Ingredients required
· Six large potatoes, boikl, peel the skin and mash it gently.
· One tsp of red chilli powder
· One tsp of coriander powder
· One tsp of cumin powder
· One tsp of raw mango powder
· 1/2 cup of coriander, finely chopped
· Two onions of finely chopped
· Salt as per your taste
· One can of chickpeas that has to be roughly mashed
· Six cloves
· Three pods of cardamom
· Eight peppercorns
· 1 cup of Tamarind Chutney
· 1 cup of Mint-coriander Chutney
· Chopped corianders are fine to garnish
· Chaat masala for garnishing
· Vegetable cooking oil for low fry
Preparation direction:
1. Initially you need to mix mashed potatoes, coriander, red chilly powder, raw mango powders and cumin powder. Then add chopped coriander, onion, salt in it.
2. Then make it as round balls and prepare it in the form of patties. Heat the oil and fry the patties in to golden brown colors, if you need you can further brown it.
3. Now take the chickpeas, add cloves, cardamom, salt as per taste and pepper corn boil it with water now remove all the spices from it.
4. Hence your preparation gets over bowl serving process starts. Place the hot patties on a plate along with the chickpea mixture.
